Youth Golf Network Receives Club Donations
The organization that teaches kids about golf received 40 sets of clubs.
The Youth Golf Network of Pasadena has received a generous donation of 40 sets of reshafted golf clubs from a local golf repair company.
The Youth Golf Network is an organization that provides golf instruction to youth in an effort to build self-esteem, and offer a positive influence to children. With the help of this donation the group will be able to continue its efforts to provide golf instruction to kids in the area.
The club donations come from Total Golf Club Repairs in Pasadena. The company wanted to make a donation to an organization that could use the equipment to inspire children through golf, according to Youth Golf Network founder Jeanette Ortegon.
“I was surprised when I got the call mentioning the donation,” said Ortegon in an e-mail. “These clubs will be put to good use. I am grateful to the generosity of the company.”
Ortegon said that the Youth Golf Network aims to be a role model for children and teens, while teaching them how to succeed in life through golf.
